Ramesh Parasuraman's photo
Ramesh Parasuraman, an accomplished engineering graduate, founded Allied Solutions (I) Pvt. Ltd. in 1995. As the Managing Director, he has been instrumental in shaping the company's strategic vision and fostering valuable business partnerships within the plastic processing industry. His leadership has positioned Allied Solutions as a key technology player in the sector, serving both Indian and neighbouring markets.

In addition to his role at Allied Solutions, Ramesh is a partner in Genesis Nutech LLP.

He is actively involved in several professional associations, including the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), AIPMA, OPPI, and IPI.

Ramesh's engagement with SPE India began in 2011 when he was elected as the Honorary Secretary from 2012 to 2014. He subsequently took on the role of President of SPE India in 2021, following his tenure as President-Elect from 2018 to 2021. Throughout his involvement with SPE, he has contributed significantly by organizing numerous conferences and workshops aimed at advancing industry knowledge and collaboration.

In addition to his leadership roles, Ramesh serves as the Chairman of the Publication Committee for Plastindia Foundation and is the Honorary Editor of Insights Magazine. He has chaired and co-chaired various committees for the Plastindia Foundation, showcasing his commitment to promoting the plastics industry.
Ramesh is recognized for his technical expertise and extensive industry contributions, having presented papers at multiple seminars organized by professional bodies and industry associations. His extensive knowledge encompasses all aspects of plastic processing, including injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion, recycling, plastic pipes, PCR supply chains, and PET recycling. In addition to his technical achievements, Ramesh holds a Guinness World Records Certificate of creation of The World’s Largest T-Shirt, a record-breaking feat achieved using recycled PET fabric made by collecting used PET bottles, under the Plastindia Foundation in 2018. He also maintains an active sustainability-focused presence on social media as @sustainableramesh on Instagram and regularly publishes thought leadership content on LinkedIn, engaging audiences across the global plastics and recycling community.
